The Friends of the Beaverdams Church are preparing for the final stage in the restoration of the iconic 1832 building’s exterior—the installation of new wooden siding to replace the well-worn clapboards on the Beaverdams Church. The estimated cost will be in the neighbourhood of $90,000.00, and while we are well on our way toward meeting the expense, we need a final financial push before making the commitment.
The annual “How Great Thou Art” luncheon and art show promises to be an important step along the way to this goal. As in other years local artists, offering everything from oil paintings and water-colours to photography and other media, will be on display and for sale.
