Getting ready…

Now that work on the foundation is finally complete, a group of dedicated Friends (and a few helpers from the local high school) gathered to tidy up the church and grounds in readiness for our exciting upcoming events:

First, it’s Beaverdams Heritage Day on Saturday June 3. Featuring university profs and local historians, the day will focus on the foundation of the church and its community in the 19C and beyond. Open to the public and free, this is a Canada 150 event for the City of Thorold you won’t want to miss!

Second, the 185th annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday June 4 at 10.30. It will be officiated by Rev McKnight of Trinity United Church in Thorold. All are welcome!

Finally, we are looking forward to our 5th annual Yard Sale on June 17th (rain date: June 24th). Other Beaverdams villagers will be participating, so don’t miss out! If you have anything to donate, please contact Donna at 905 227 7556.
